We tried alerting local media, but outlets like The Olympian and The JOLT completely ignored us.
No one wanted to take a sniff or observe the library administration.
Everything changed when we put a picture of an impatient cat demanding her dinner onto our grassroots flyers. This caught on quickly and eased the tension.
We officially adopted the name Angry Cats to get eyes on the serious issue of losing library workers and risking the collapse of the entire library system.
As our movement grew, we realized that our deeper message of Fiscal Integrity and Civic Reciprocity didn't fully match a purely angry title. Tracking a multi-million dollar public budget for a vital public service requires constant, professional observation.
We even checked out a new address called VigilantCatLibrary.org, ready to stand guard over kibble counts and budget numbers, call out hiss-worthy behavior, and purr with gratitude for those who make the library a safe place. But life has taken us a different direction. and we will be closing up around August 15, 2026
🐾 The Cats are Saying Aloha! 🐾
😻To all our Awesome Readers and supporters:
Our watch is officially over, and the cats are stepping down from the watchtower!
Little Miss Georgia has finally received her requested dinner. Meanwhile, Raz—who was born on 7-11 and named after a brilliant Blue Raspberry Slurpee—has decided that tracking millions of brain-freezing human dollars is
seriously cutting into her prime catnaps.
We’ve turned off our spreadsheets, packed up our magnifying glasses, and officially closed down the kibble-counting department.
We want to softly mew a sincere thank you to everyone who:
Shared our grassroots flyers 📄
Kept a close eye on the library administration 🕵️♂️
Stood up for our amazing library workers 📚
Emailed the Commissioners the 3 Pillars 📄
We are moving on to more important things—like chasing sunbeams, demanding treats, and focusing entirely on a future rooted in pure love and reciprocity (and cat grass).
Our paws are officially resting. We love you all, and we are purring with endless gratitude!
Aloha and Headbumps from Georgia, Raz 🐾❤️
